Dr. Jordi Bonet (1976) is associated professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Analytical Chemistry at the University of Barcelona. ERASMUS PhD student for 8 months at the ETH of Zurich. Join PhD in the field of Environtmental and Product Engineering by the University of Barcelona and the LGC-ENCIASET of Toulouse. Postdoctoral stages at the University Politehnica of Bucharest where was the main researcher of a project (1.3 M€ budget and 19 staff team). Member of the Scientific Committee of the “Conference on Process Integration for Energy Saving and Pollution Reduction” (PRES) since 2010 and of the “European Symposium on Computer Aided Process Engineering” in 2016 and 2017. IQTC member since 2011. Secretary of the Catalan Chemical Society since 2014. Translation of 3 scientific books from english to spanish (Ed. Reverté). Distinguished as outstanding reviewer by several journals (Energy, 2015; Applied Thermal Engineering, 2015; Chemical Engineering Journal, 2016; Journal of Cleaner Production, 2017; Chemical Engineering and Processing and Process Intensification, 2017; Waste Management, 2017; Separation and Purification Technology, 2018). 67 documents published in Scopus and A level for research output classment from PDA-UB. 3 sexennia on teaching and has been professor in 15 different subjects from 4 grades and 2 masters covering from first year basic formation to last year specialization courses and master. Direction of 14 master thesis and 44 end of degree projects (14 selected for the digital respository). Research from experimental determination of thermodynamic, reaction kinetics and transport data to the rigorous simulation of a chemical plant, being one of the main authors in residue curve maps. Nowadays interest in the use of Computational Fluid Dynamics software to chemical applications.
