Angel Morales-Garcia leads a new research group in the Faculty of Chemistry, the CompuMat group
Angel Morales-Garcia is the junior leader of CompuMat Group “New Horizons in Material & Physical Chemistry Science”, which aims at understanding the properties of materials using mutiscale modeling. CompuMat is based on the KETS principle, Knowledge – Energy Transition – Sustainability.
ComputMat uses sophisticated computational strategies based on the Density Functional Theory (DFT) to investigate the material´s properties in the ground and excited states. Furthermore, microkinetic simulations are employed to make a reliable description of our predictions and, of course, to connect with available experiments.
